Bengals CB Cam Taylor-Britt does not regret the college offense commander’s comments

CINCINNATI — Cam Taylor-Britt doesn't regret his comments about the Commanders' “college” offense following the Bengals' 38-33 loss on Monday night.

The Bengals' best cornerback essentially doubled down and endured the pain of his third consecutive loss to start the season.

“I don't regret it and I didn't mean any harm by the comment,” Taylor-Britt said in the locker room. “It was just over the top. Yes, I can definitely take back what I said. We took a loss as a team today. It was kind of a college offense, very quick, fast throws. Very athletic in the way he (Jayden Daniels) extended plays and that's how the game went.”

Taylor-Britt finished with four tackles and no pass breakups. Zac Taylor was not happy with the original comments as Cincinnati continues to act like a contender and play like a hypocrite at 0-3.

“That's not what we do,” Taylor said of the “college offense” comments. “We praise our own team, praise the other team. We don't have to make throws like that. This team hasn't punted in two weeks. They've scored on every single possession the last two weeks. So I have tremendous respect for what they do over there. I've known Kliff (Kingsbury) for a long time. I knew this was going to be a very dangerous offense with that quarterback, and they proved that.”
