AFCON 2025Q: Sudan dissatisfied with training facility in Ghana

Sudan's assistant coach Ignatius Osei Fosu has raised concerns about the condition of the training ground provided to his team ahead of their AFCON qualifier against Ghana.

Sudan has been training on the St. Thomas Aquinas pitch as it prepares to play against Ghana's Black Stars on Thursday.

According to Osei Fosu, the training ground could impact their game plan against Ghana.

“The preparation wasn't bad, but our only problem was the training ground.

“It wasn't the best, but we accept it that way. We have not trained at the Accra Stadium but what we have been offered at St. Aquinas is not good.

“If the pitch in Accra is anything like what we were offered in St Aquinas then we will see terrible football,” he said.

Sudan is currently second in the group, 2 points ahead of Ghana.
