Bridget Carleton is ready for her moment in the WNBA Finals

BROOKLYN, New York (October 13, 2024) — It's a morning shooting at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Bridget Carleton shoots on an almost empty court and sinks one jumper after the other. She wore her signature shooting sleeve, originally designed to cover seams at her elbow, and has now added a calf sleeve, a sign of the wear and tear of an intense postseason run.

Just 46 hours ago, the star from Chatham, Ont., celebrated a Game 5 win over the Connecticut Sun, sending the Minnesota Lynx to the WNBA Finals for the seventh time and first since 2017.

Carleton is playing the best and most consistent basketball of her career. The Canadian Senior Women's National Team (SWNT) veteran averaged 9.6 points per game during the regular season and more than doubled her three-point attempts, taking some of the most shots in the final stretch of the season.
