Linebacker Neil Daily makes his first start for MSU this afternoon…

BOZEMAN, Montana – Montana State's short-term roster shakeup continues today in Portland with the loss of two key contributors.

Linebackers Bryce Grebewho has been tipped to start following Danny Uliulakepa's injury last week, will miss today's game. Neil Daily Start with in his place Ryan Krahe supports both Will and Mike's positions. When running back, Adam Jones will miss today's game due to injury. Jared White moves behind Scottre Humphrey on the depth chart. Julius Davisthe returning starter at running back, traveled this week and his availability is a game-time decision.

Bobcat coach Brent Vigen is approaching a milestone. With a win in one of MSU's next two games, Vigen will become the first Big Sky Conference football coach to win at least 40 games in his first 50 games. By beating Idaho for his 39^Th When he won last week, at 38, he moved out of a tie with Boise State's Bobby Hauck and UM's Tony Knapp and entered a tie with UM's Mick Dennehy.

Vigen is just 4 minutes away from moving into a draw with Mike Kramer^Th Place on MSU's all-time wins list. His 26 home wins are 3^approx in Bobcat history in this category.

Bobcat quarterback Tommy Mellott also rises up a significant list of successes. His 25 wins as Montana State's starting quarterback are tied for third with Bobcat legend Travis Lulay, who is expected to play in today's game. His next win puts him in second place with Paul Dennehy, who like Mellott is a Butte product. DeNarius McGhee's 30 wins are the school's all-time record.

Tonight's game marks Montana State's third trip to Hillsboro Stadium. The Cats defeated PSU 30-17 in 2021 and 43-23 in 2018.
