PFL Battle of the Giants results: Ngannou dominates in emotional win over Ferreira

1 minute, 20 seconds Read

PFL Super Fights: Battle of the Giants is now complete as Francis Ngannou's expected return against 2023 PFL Heavyweight Champion Renan Ferreira didn't last too long.

It took Ngannou less than a full round to finish Ferreira, as after a series of exchanges, the former UFC champion floored his opponent with a vicious ground-and-pound that forced the referee to stop the fight. Ngannou is now adding a second advertising title to his resume. After the fight was called, Ngannou was emotional with his family and trainers as this was the champion's first fight since his son's death in April.

In the co-main event, Cris Cyborg secured his fifth promotion title with a unanimous decision victory over two-year PFL champion Larissa Pacheco in a thrilling match.

In the Bellator middleweight title fight, Johnny Eblen retained his belt when he defeated Fabian Edwards by unanimous decision in a rematch of a fight Eblen won by knockout last year.

Andreas Hale, Brett Okamoto and Jeff Wagenheim break down everything that happened at PFL Super Fights: Battle of the Giants.
