Boston tries to grab Skid

The Boston Bruins will look to bounce back on home ice when they host the Dallas Stars at TD Garden on Thursday night.

Boston is coming off consecutive road losses, including a 4-0 loss to the Nashville Predators on Tuesday night. Dallas is coming off a 4-2 loss to the Buffalo Sabres.

Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery is expected to make some changes to the forwards following the shutout. Pavel Zacha will make up the second line with Morgan Geekie and Matt Poitras, while center Charlie Coyle will move to the third line with Trent Frederic and Cole Koepke.

Goalie Jeremy Swayman, fourth-line forward Justin Brazeau and third-team defenseman Parker Wotherspoon will all return to the lineup against the Stars.

TD Garden puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET. You can watch it live on NESN after an hour of pre-game coverage.
