Thursday Night Football, Week 8: Vikings and Rams start the week

1 minute, 15 seconds Read

The NFL begins its Week 8 schedule tonight with two teams that the Green Bay Packers are already very familiar with this season. The Minnesota Vikings, fresh off their first loss of the season, travel to the West Coast to play a Los Angeles Rams team that remains weakened by injuries.

Surprisingly, this game will feature two of the NFL's best pairs of wide receivers. Puka Nacua is available again as an injured substitute for today's game for the Rams, who will also have Cooper Kupp available. That means they may not have to run their offense almost entirely through running back Kyren Williams like they have in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison remain key players for the Vikings. Jefferson is among the league's leaders in receiving yards and yards per game, and while Addison hasn't quite matched his production from a year ago, he's building his numbers back up after losing a few games early this season missed due to injury.

The Vikings are slight favorites on the road tonight, so tune in tonight as we watch to see if they get back in the win column or if they lose for the second week in a row.
