Bruce Springsteen calls Trump “an American tyrant” as he serenades the crowd at the Kamala Harris rally

An elated Michelle Obama slammed Donald Trump as “a convicted felon, a known slumlord and a convicted sexual abuse predator” as she campaigned for Kamala Harris in Michigan on Saturday.

The former first lady stunned in Kalamazoo with a speech in which she told the crowd she had “real” fears for “our country.”

Obama also railed against those who held the vice president to “higher standards” than their political opponents.

“We expect her to be intelligent, articulate, to have clear policies and never show too much anger… But for Trump? We don't expect anything at all. No understanding of politics, no ability to put together coherent arguments,” she said.

“I hope you will forgive me if I am a little annoyed that we are indifferent to his erratic behavior, his obvious mental decline, his past as a convicted felon, a known slumlord, a predator convicted of sexual abuse. ” she added.

Earlier Saturday, also in Michigan, Trump claimed there was “something wrong” with Harris.

The former president is rallying in Pennsylvania on Saturday evening, a day after telling podcaster Joe Rogan that his biggest mistake during his first term in the White House was hiring “disloyal people.”

Harris rejects Trump's false claims about his support for ending Roe v. Wade

Trump has repeatedly falsely stated that Americans largely supported abolishing the Supreme Court Roe v. Wade and instead wanted individual states to set legal limits on abortion access.

“Donald Trump still refuses to even acknowledge the pain and suffering he has caused,” the vice president said in her address in Michigan.

“He insists that 'everyone wanted Roe V. Wade overturned.' Everyone wanted that? Women are denied care when they have miscarriages,” she said. “Some are not treated until they develop sepsis? They didn’t want that.”

Michelle Obama describes common but frightening failed pregnancy scenarios

During her speech in Michigan, Michelle Obama gave an overview of several common but frightening failed pregnancy scenarios.

“I don't want to be a disappointer, but in many cases there is no warning and things go wrong very quickly, and when they do, every second of hesitation or delay can have devastating consequences,” she said.

Addressing male viewers directly, she added: “As men, are you also prepared to look the women and children you love in the eye and tell them that you supported this attack on our security?”

People who withhold their voices while subjecting Harris to a purity test are making women “collateral damage for your anger,” she said. “We are more than just baby vessels.”

The former first lady's speech came after Harris held a rally on women's reproductive rights alongside music superstar Beyonce in Houston, Texas.

Obama blasts people who put Harris 'higher than Trump'

Michelle Obama directed her anger at Donald Trump and those who held Kamala Harris to “higher standards” than her opponent.

“Can someone tell me why we hold Kamala to a higher standard than her opponent?” she said.

“We expect her to be intelligent, articulate, to have clear policies and never show too much anger… But for Trump? We don't expect anything at all. No understanding of politics, no ability to put together coherent arguments.”

Trump has “no honor, no decency, no morals,” she added. “People write off his “childish indecency” as “Trump just being Trump.” “Instead of questioning his terrible behavior, some people just think he’s funny.”

She added: “I hope you'll forgive me if I get a little frustrated that some of us are ignoring Donald Trump's gross incompetence and demanding that Kamala blind us at every turn.”

“I hope you will forgive me if I am a little annoyed that we are indifferent to his erratic behavior, his obvious mental decline, his past as a convicted felon, a known slumlord, and a predator convicted of sexual abuse. ”

Obama has “real” fear for “our country”

Obama says she has “real” fears for “our country,” “our children” and “what lies ahead if we forget what's at stake in this election.”

“You all know I hate politics, but I hate to see people taken advantage of even more,” she told rally participants in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

“I wanted to do everything in my power to remind the country that I love it, that there is too much to lose if we get it wrong.”

Michelle Obama takes the stage in Michigan to rally for Harris

Michelle Obama was greeted with screams as she took the stage in Kalamazoo, Michigan, calling the city the “Kamala Zoo.”

“We need all of you. Because as you know, this race is close right now. It's too close for my taste. And I came here to Michigan because I'm someone who takes their own advice to heart.

“I know that if we want to help this country finally put an end to the politics of hate and division, we can't just sit around and complain. No, we have to do something if we want to produce the next generation of American leaders.”

Trump is “too scared” to debate Harris a second time, Obama told his supporters. Harris doesn't “duck” from interviews like Trump, she said. “She shows us what a sensible, stable leader looks like,” she said. “She doesn't lose her train of thought or stumble over her words… That's because Kamala Harris is an adult, and God knows we need an adult in the White House.”
