Tyus Jones is a very efficient point guard and a player that the Suns were missing last season. The Suns coaching staff could put the ball in his hands more often in this game. Less freelance and more stable point guard play after a road loss before the second game of a back-to-back is a good read here.

Devin Booker will do everything he can to shine in the latest installment of this one-sided grudge match. It won't be enough to win, but he should get 24 points or more.

Klay Thompson continues his solid start for the Mavericks. Thompson was on fire and got plenty of open looks against the Spurs. Expect there to be fewer powerful dribbles leading to shots, but it seems very realistic here that Thompson scored 16 points.

The Mavericks have the remaining advantage here, as Phoenix suffered a loss on Friday evening. The Suns will be excited for their home opener in the first half, but Dallas may have the fresher team in the fourth quarter.
