Texas A&M outscored the LSU Tigers 31-6 in the second half. The Aggies ran for 242 yards in the win. The Aggies are legit under Mike Elko and must be viewed as legitimate contenders.

After the bye, the Volunteers prepare to face a Kentucky Wildcats team that just lost to Auburn.

Week 9: Defeat Vanderbilt 27-21

The Longhorns scored just six points in the second half of their win over Vanderbilt, but took care of business on the road against a strong Commodores team. Quinn Ewers was 27 or 37 for 288 yards and three touchdowns on the day.

Week 9: Lost to Texas A&M 38-23

Garrett Nussmeier threw for 405 yards but completed just 50% of his passes and threw three interceptions in the Tigers' loss.

Week 9: Defeated Oklahoma 26-14

It wasn't a dominant win as Ole Miss trailed at halftime. But they took care of business in the final moments of the game and held off Oklahoma's comeback attempt in the fourth quarter.

The Commodores put up a good fight against the Longhorns, but Vanderbilt was just 3 of 12 on third down and turned the ball over three times. It's hard to win a game like this, but we won't punish the Commodores for losing a close game to Texas.

This is the type of performance we've come to expect from the Alabama Crimson Tide, who absolutely dominated the Missouri Tigers in Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide defense held the Tigers to just 239 total yards.

The South Carolina Gamecocks face a tough test after the bye-bye when they welcome the Texas A&M Aggies to town.

The Florida Gators played well to start the bye week. They had won three of four games and only lost to Tennessee by a touchdown. Their matchup with Georgia at the world's largest outdoor cocktail party is intriguing, even if the Gators come into the game as huge underdogs.

Week 9: Defeated Mississippi State 58-25

This was a stunning performance from the Razorbacks after their disappointing loss to LSU in Week 8. Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green accounted for 393 yards of offense and six touchdowns in the win.

Week 9: Lost 0:34 to Alabama

Starting quarterback Brady Cook was sidelined late in the first half with a hand injury. Before Cook was injured, he averaged just 2.5 yards per attempt. Drew Pyne didn't fare much better against Alabama's defense, throwing three interceptions and averaging just 3.5 yards per attempt. Cook goes crazy. It's the second week in a row he's missed significant time.

Week 9: Lost to Ole Miss 26-14

That was a better performance for the Oklahoma Sooners' offense in the first half, but four punts early in the second half, including three three-pointers, put Oklahoma behind by two points. The offense, forced to pass, couldn't handle the pressure and ultimately allowed 10 sacks in the game.

Week 9: Defeated Kentucky 24-10

If Auburn wins the turnover battle, they have some talent to work with. The problem is that not too much happened. Trailing 10-0 after the first quarter, the Tigers scored the final 24 points of the game.

That win over Ole Miss seems like a long time ago. The Kentucky Wildcats have now lost three straight to Vanderbilt, Florida and Auburn.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs had been playing better in recent weeks, but that all came undone against Arkansas. The Bulldogs' defense allowed the Razorbacks 673 yards of offense.
