CeeDee Lamb wasn't happy with the Dallas Cowboys' continued lack of success against the San Francisco 49ers after a 30-24 loss Football on Sunday evenings.

“It really sucks,” Lamb said, according to ESPN’s Todd Archer. “Especially that I have come here three times in the last three years. It’s disgusting.”

The star wide receiver bounced back from a relatively slow start to the year after the loss, recording a season-high 146 yards and two touchdowns on 13 catches. He made repeated plays in the second half and helped Dallas nearly erase a 17-point deficit in the fourth quarter.

Lamb caught both touchdown passes within the final 15 minutes of game time, helping cut the 49ers' lead to just six points and winning the ball back with about three minutes left in regulation.

However, the Cowboys were unable to gain any yards and had to kick the ball back to San Francisco. The 49ers scored a first down before Brock Purdy took a knee to end the game.

With the win, San Francisco won its fourth straight contest against Dallas and third at home. The four-game losing streak also includes playoff games in 2021 and 2022.

Despite the Cowboys' inconsistency this season, Lamb's improved play has been a silver lining. After amassing 218 yards and a touchdown in his first three outings, the 25-year-old amassed 395 yards and three scores in the team's next four contests.

His 613 receiving yards are the third most of any player in the NFL.

After falling to 3-4 with Sunday's loss, the Cowboys will look to bounce back in a Week 9 game against the Atlanta Falcons.
