PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh Steelers found a spark midway through the third quarter of their Week 8 game against the New York Giants. After two touchdowns in the first half, the score was tied 9-9 and they had to find a score somehow. This happened when Calvin Austin punted.

Austin took the return from sideline to sideline before running down the field and finding a gap. From there, it was all on to the races as he torched the Giants' special teams unit and made his way to the end zone to cap off a 73-yard touchdown return.

This is another pivotal moment for the Steelers' special teams this season, as the group has blocked a punt or a field goal in the last three games. Now they add a punt return touchdown to their season resume.

Pittsburgh took a 16-9 lead on Chris Boswell's extra point and prepared to control the score in the second half. With the bye week just around the corner, they look to take control of the AFC North before Week 9 and head into the Washington Commanders with plenty of momentum coming from a three-game winning streak.
