Chelsea Freeman sat in the front row Tuesday as husband Freddie Freeman etched his name in World Series history.

Shortly after the Dodgers' star first baseman hit his sixth consecutive home run in a World Series game – a feat that began during his time with the Braves in 2021 – Chelsea posted a celebratory message on Instagram in response to Freeman's record-breaking night in Game 4 against the Yankees.

“Most consecutive home runs in World Series history!!!” she wrote alongside a video of Freeman's first-inning hit at Yankee Stadium that gave the Dodgers a 2-0 lead.

With Tuesday's performance, Freeman became the first player in history to hit a home run in each of the first four World Series games.

The night before – when the Dodgers took a 3-0 lead with a 4-2 win in Game 3 – Freeman joined players like Barry Bonds and Hank Bauer in the first three games of a best-of-seven Series scored a goal.

Despite Freeman's efforts, the Yankees came to life Tuesday thanks to a grand slam by Anthony Volpe in the third inning that got the offense rolling in their 11-4 win.

The 35-year-old Freeman has dominated this series after being limited early in the postseason with an ankle strain.

He led the Dodgers to a Game 1 victory last Friday, hitting a grand slam in the 10th inning to make it 6-3.

The eight-time MLB All-Star — who joined the Dodgers in 2022 after winning a World Series with Atlanta last season — followed with home runs in Games 2 and 3, both in the Dodgers' 4-2 victories.

“I'm not surprised he's performing at this level,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said after Monday's Game 3 victory.

“He’s been very good in the postseason throughout his career. I think the five (off) days before the series were huge, they gave him the chance to get out of the crisis (with the ankle).”

Chelsea, who has been married to Freeman since 2014, has supported him every step of the way, including as the couple copes with son Maximus' health scare.

The three-year-old was hospitalized earlier this summer after being diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome.

“Max's neurologist is VERY, VERY happy with his progress,” Chelsea shared on Instagram earlier this month. “…With the help of lots and lots of PT, Max is getting closer and closer to his normal, wild self.”

Game 5 is scheduled for Wednesday in the Bronx. If necessary, Game 6 will be moved back to Los Angeles.
