Trump rides 'big, beautiful' MAGA garbage truck after Biden attacks his supporters

Former President Donald Trump was greeted by a “big, beautiful MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN garbage truck” at a Wisconsin airport on Wednesday.

“How do you like my garbage truck?” Trump, wearing an orange safety vest, asked reporters as he sat in the passenger seat of the MAGA-adorned garbage truck as it drove down the tarmac.

“This truck is in honor of Kamala and Joe Biden.”

The stunt comes a day after President Biden, 81, called Trump supporters “trash” in a campaign call at the White House and denounced comments by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe in which he called Puerto Rico a “floating island of trash” at the rally Republican candidates at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.

“The only trash I see out there is his supporters. “His demonization of Latinos is irresponsible and un-American,” Biden said during a call with the Voto Latino Group as Vice President Kamala Harris gathered at the nearby Ellipse in Washington, D.C., pushing for how the Democratic Party would unite the country.

Republicans criticized the insult and immediately drew comparisons to then-Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton's 2016 remark that half of Trump's supporters should be “put in the basket of deplorables.”

Biden and the White House tried to tone down the comment by editing the official transcript to add an apostrophe to “supporter” — suggesting the president was referring solely to Hinchcliffe.

The commander-in-chief also tried to deflect the accusation against X, writing, “His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable. That's all I wanted to say.”

The Harris-Walz campaign also quickly released an ad linking Hinchliffe's comments to the aftermath of Hurricane Maria in 2017, in which Harris recounted, “I will never forget what Donald Trump did.” He has the island abandoned and offered nothing more than paper towels and insults.”

Trump has since distanced himself from Hinchcliffe, who sparked widespread bipartisan backlash after his opening.

When asked if he owed Puerto Rico an apology, Trump claimed while sitting in the garbage truck that he knew “nothing about a comedian” and then professed his “love” for the Caribbean island.

“No one has done more for Puerto Rico than me. I took care of them when they had the big hurricanes. No one understands Puerto Rico and the Puerto Rican people better than I do. They love me and I love them,” he said.

“I don’t know anything about the comedian. I don't know who he is. I heard he made a statement, but it's a statement he made. He's a comedian. What can I tell you? They hired comedians and I guess he joined the show early on.”

Hinchcliffe has since defended his controversial remark, insisting it was a joke.

The garbage truck follows the motorcade on the way to Trump's rally in Green Bay, where the former president will speak tonight.
