Trump seen in garbage truck in Wisconsin

Former President Trump rolled into the battleground state of Wisconsin in a garbage truck on Wednesday, an apparent reference to President Biden's comments about the Republican nominee's supporters that have set off a firestorm in the final days of a hotly contested campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris .

Trump was pictured in Green Bay in a white garbage truck wearing an orange high-visibility vest with the words “Trump Make America Great Again 2024” written on the vehicle.

“How do you like my garbage truck?” Trump asked reporters. “This truck is in honor of Kamala and Joe Biden.”

The stunt is clearly a dig at Biden, who has come under fire for calling Trump supporters trash.

During a virtual Harris campaign call with Voto Latino, Biden took a swipe at former Trump's weekend rally at Madison Square Garden, which made headlines after an insult Comedian Tony Hinchiffe made jokes They mocked various ethnic groups, with one joke calling Puerto Rico a “floating island of trash.”

“The only trash I see floating out there is his supporters,” Biden said. “His demonization of Latinos is incomprehensible and un-American.”

The comment quickly went viral and sparked swift condemnation from critics.

Biden's comments were quickly compared to Hillary Clinton, who declared that Trump supporters were “deplorable” during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Trump himself responded to Biden's “terrible” comment while speaking at a rally in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

“Remember Hillary? She said 'deplorable' and then 'irredeemable', right? But she said 'regrettable.'” “That didn't work out. 'Garbage' is worse in my opinion,” Trump said at a rally in Allentown, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday evening. “But he doesn’t know – you have to please forgive him. Please forgive him. Because he doesn’t know what he said.”

“And I’m convinced he likes me more than Kamala,” Trump joked.

On Wednesday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Biden does not view Trump supporters as “trash.”

“He has said several times that he is a president for everyone. It doesn't matter if you live in a red state. It doesn’t matter if you live in a blue state,” she said.

Vivek Ramaswamy was also spotted in the back of a garbage truck in Charlotte, North Carolina on Wednesday. Ramaswamy, who expressed his support for Trump after he left the presidential campaign, wore a yellow high-visibility vest as he greeted his supporters.
