Second-year guard Brandin Podziemski has enjoyed an extended stretch of time in the Golden State Warriors uniform, as evidenced by the team exercising the third-year option on his rookie contract.

The 19th overall pick in the 2023 first round of the draft and a member of the 2023-2024 NBA All-Rookie First Team has shown that he is an integral part of the Warriors' future core.

During his rookie season, he averaged 9.2 points per game, 5.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists while shooting 45% from the field and 38% from long range. He also appeared in 74 games and showed his durability as he alternated between the starting and a reserve role as the Warriors figured out Klay Thompson's final season.

His hard work has paid off by earning more and more trust from the coaching staff, no small feat considering coach Steve Kerr is typically wary of throwing rookies into the fire.
