Hoda Kotb's TODAY Halloween costumes through the years – see them all

If there's one person who knows how to host TODAY Halloween in style, it's co-host Hoda Kotb.

Hoda has been celebrating Halloween on TODAY for nearly two decades, starting in 2007 and running through 2024. This year, she took on the iconic role of Jack from “Titanic” alongside her TODAY With Hoda & Jenna co-host Jenna Bush Hager as Rose, of course – as part of the show theme “VHS Rewind.”

Hoda took a moment to reflect on all of her previous costumes on the court on Oct. 31 and even shared the costume that scared her two daughters.

“I've played all these strange characters over the years. I played Yoda. I was Cher, I was an acrobat, I was Elton (John) – which my children are still afraid of. So I thought, “What should I be?” Something beautiful, flowing. Then I said, 'No, I'm going to be Jack from Titanic,'” she said.

2007: Marilyn Munster, “The Munsters”

For Hoda's first TODAY Halloween special, she dressed as Marilyn Munster from the hit CBS series “The Munsters.”

2008: Little Red Riding Hood

In 2008, Hoda dressed up as a member of the fairytale king – Little Red Riding Hood.

2009: Yoda, “Star Wars”

Hoda played the role of Yoda from the Star Wars series in 2009.

2010: Ethel Mertz, “I Love Lucy”

Hoda made her costume couple debut in 2010 when she and her then TODAY With Kathie Lee & Hoda co-host Kathie Lee Gifford dressed up as Lucy Ricardo and Ethel Mertz from “I Love Lucy.”

2011: Princess Eugenie, the royal family

Hoda and Kathie Lee teamed up again in 2011 to portray Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice in a royal family Halloween theme.

2013: Betty Rubble, “The Flintstones”

Hoda and Kathie Lee dressed up as Betty Rubble and Wilma Flintstone for a Flintstones Halloween in 2013.

2014: Garth Algar, “Wayne’s World”

Watch out, “Wayne's World”: Hoda and Kathie Lee took on the iconic roles of Garth Algar and Wayne Campbell in 2014.

2015: Snoopy, “Peanuts”

Hoda and Kathie Lee (with the help of some prosthetics) wore adorable “Peanuts” character costumes in 2015. Hoda portrayed Snoopy and Kathie Lee took on Woodstock.

2016: Kathie Lee Gifford

2016 marked a return to a non-couple costume as Hoda dressed up as none other than Kathie Lee!

2017: Blake Shelton

TODAY went country in 2017, meaning Hoda dressed up as County star Blake Shelton and Kathie Lee did her best Miley Cyrus impression.

2018: Elton John

The costume that scared Hoda's children dates back to 2018, when she dressed up as music superstar Elton John.

2019: Tony Manero, “Saturday Night Fever”

Hoda delivered her best impression of John Travolta's Tony Manero in 2019's “Saturday Night Fever.”

2020: Glinda, “Wicked”

Hoda teamed up with Savannah Guthrie for a costume together for the first time in 2020, when they took on two of the main characters from “Wicked,” Glinda and Elphaba, as part of the “Best of Broadway” theme.

2021: Carrie Underwood

TODAY has been all about football in 2021, so Hoda dressed up as the voice behind the “Sunday Night Football” theme song, Carrie Underwood (seen here with Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders Jenna and Savannah).

2022: Cirque du Soleil performers

The TODAY 2022 Halloween special was themed Cirque du Soleil and featured Hoda and Savannah soaring through the air as acrobats, inspired by the Las Vegas show “O.”

2023: Cher

Hoda and Jenna portrayed Sonny and Cher as TODAY paid homage to some of the world's biggest music icons as part of the show's 2023 theme, “Kellyoke.”

2024: Jack, “Titanic”

Hoda and Jenna teamed up again in 2024 to portray Jack and Rose from the classic 1997 film Titanic.
