Mark Cuban: Trump never associates with 'strong, intelligent women'

Billionaire investor Mark Cuban claimed that former President Trump was never seen around “strong, intelligent women” because they would “intimidate” him.

The “Shark Tank” star made the remark during an appearance on ABC's “The View” on Thursday. Cuban, a surrogate for Vice President Harris' campaign, criticized Trump for not using former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley to reach moderate Republican voters, as the Harris campaign did with figures like former Republican Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger had used.

Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin asked Cuban, “You were a Nikki Haley supporter like I was in the primary, but now you're supporting Kamala Harris and it turns out Donald Trump isn't even asking Nikki Haley for her help.” “What do you think about that and do you think the fact that Kamala Harris has people like Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger and other Republicans will put her over the top with these Nikki Haley supporters?”

“Yeah, it will put her over the top with the Nikki Haley fans,” Cuban replied. “Donald Trump, you never see him around strong, intelligent women. It’s that simple.”

“They are intimidating to him. He doesn't like being challenged by them and, you know, Nikki Haley will call him out on his reproductive rights nonsense and the way he sees, treats and talks about women. I mean, he just “I can’t have her with me. That wouldn’t work,” he continued.

Haley, who dropped out of the 2024 race in March, endorsed Trump for president during the Republican National Convention.

Haley told Fox News chief political anchor Bret Baier on Tuesday that she had not spoken to the former president since June but would be available to speak to his campaign upon request.

“They are very aware that we are on standby,” she said. “They know we are here to help. I helped with some fundraising letters, text messages and things like that, so that's what we did. But look, we're on the same team. It's her campaign's decision.” “What he needs, and these last few days don't bother me at all,” she told Baier.

Cuban predicted Harris would win the razor-thin presidential race and dismissed the controversy over President Biden's “garbage” comment, saying it “doesn't matter at all.”
