Travis Kelce shares his thoughts on when he thinks the right time is to take the “next step” in a relationship amid rumors that he and his girlfriend Taylor Swift are likely to get engaged soon.

“I feel like when you know someone's life,” the 35-year-old Kansas City Chiefs star shared with his brother Jason Kelce on a special bonus episode of his New Heights podcast on Thursday.

“When you see someone's everyday life and you can understand that, and you develop a routine of being with that person on a regular basis or talking to them about their daily routines. You just naturally feel the real connection.”

Travis also noted that the desire to “get to the next step more quickly” should come “naturally.”

The “Grotesquerie” star also pointed out that family plays an important role, sharing that he thinks it's “huge” when a partner is introduced to relatives.

Travis and Swift, 34, got to know each other's families early on when the pop superstar sat next to her boyfriend's mother, Donna Kelce, at the first Chiefs game she ever attended in September 2023.

The family trip came just months after Travis and Swift secretly started dating.

Since then, the “You Belong With Me” singer's parents, Scott Swift and Andrea Swift, have also become friends with the NFL star – they even attended the Super Bowl in Las Vegas earlier this year to cheer him on.

Scott, 72, recently sat next to a woman on a plane and revealed how much he loves Travis for his daughter.

His seatmate, Taylor Moore, revealed in a TikTok video that the proud father gushed that “of all of (Taylor's) friends in the last 12 years…Travis has made the biggest impression.”

Despite Travis' opinion on what it takes to propose, his older brother – who is married with three children – said on the podcast that he believes “moving in” should be a deciding factor.

“It’s a decision you have to make, especially if you have roommates,” explains Jason, 36.

“You will know that if you want to do it, you will do it. This is how you know. And then if she wants to do it, then in the end you both will do it. Not in this way, but in a way.”

Travis and Taylor don't live under the same roof yet, but she spends a lot of time at the tight end's $6 million mansion in Kansas City, Missouri when she takes a break from touring.

Travis, for his part, was also spotted hanging out at the “Lover” singer's New York apartment.

However, Jason concluded that the final steps before a couple settles down is to have “more serious conversations about what our values are, what we believe in, what we want our lives to look like individually and with the person.”

The retired Philadelphia Eagles center, who has been married to his wife Kylie Kelce since 2018, added: “You start thinking about things, and the more you get lined up… you just keep rolling.” Or you could say: “I don’t want to deal with this stuff and find someone else.”

Then Travis chimed in, “That’s the love train. You either jump up or jump off.”

Some have speculated that the Super Bowl champion has already taken this leap of faith with Taylor.

Earlier this month, Troy Aikman shared on the Pardon My Take podcast, “Someone actually reached out to me today and said that they might actually be engaged.”

A source told Page Six back in August that the wife of a top Chiefs executive was overheard telling friends in a suite at a Morgan Wallen concert that the power duo were also already engaged.

However, it was unclear whether the comment was a slip of the tongue or if she was repeating online chatter.

At the time, Travis' rep denied that an engagement had occurred.
