Lisa at Victoria's Secret Show earns $1.6 million in media exposure

Blackpink's Lisa's performance during the 2024 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York City on October 15 generated media interest and impact. The Thai rapper, singer and dancer opened the fashion show with a rousing performance of her hit song “Rockstar” and returned for another performance of her song “Moonlit Floor.”

Lisa joined a bevy of high-profile stars and celebrities to attend the 2024 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, the brand's first since going on hiatus in 2018. With a single placement on Instagram, Lisa is said to have generated a media impact value of US$1.6 million -Dollars for the brand to Launchmetrics. (MIV is a proprietary metric that assigns a real monetary value to print, online and social media marketing strategies to calculate ROI.)

In comparison, singer Tyla generated $2 million in MIV across four of her Instagram posts. Victoria's Secret's return to the runway for its 2024 fashion show generated absolute media coverage worldwide, generating an MIV of $304.8 million – almost the same figure as the entire New York Fashion Week in September with Spring 2025 collections.

Before her electrifying appearance on the Victoria's Secret runway, Lisa hit the red carpet wearing a major piece from the VS vault. The singer styled an archive look from the brand's last fashion show in 2018.

Originally designed by Taylor Hill, the ensemble featured a floor-length, sheer black cape with ethereal, shimmering details like stars and crescents adorning the fabric. Underneath the cape, Lisa wore a bejeweled bra with harness-like straps that connected to the top with a choker around her neck.

The look was completed with silver chains that connected to another jeweled band around Lisa's torso.

After a six-year hiatus, the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show returned to New York City on October 15th. The 2024 spectacle was broadcast live on Prime Video and Victoria's Secret's YouTube, Instagram and TikTok platforms. Former Angels like Tyra Banks, Alessandra Ambrosio and Taylor Hill walked the runway alongside new faces like Paloma Elsesser and Devyn Garcia. In addition to Lisa from Blackpink, Cher and Tyla were the musical guests of the evening.
