Damian Lillard demands responsibility as the Bucks struggle to find a rhythm

The Milwaukee Bucks are in the midst of a worrisome 1-3 start to the season.

Under coach Doc Rivers, the Bucks fell to a lowly 18-21 record after their most recent loss on Monday in Boston. When Rivers took over last January, the Bucks had a 32-14 record. Additionally, Milwaukee lost in the first round of the playoffs a season ago. The seat of the rivers is getting hotter and hotter.

Bucks star Damian Lillard, in a recent comment about his and Giannis Antetokounmpo's relationship, acknowledged their struggles early in the season: “Me and him have to be able to hold each other accountable, and that's not what I mean That we yell at each other all the time, but just “I mean, I need to be able to tell you something.” And you have to be able to tell me something at any time.

“He always had to assert himself in Milwaukee and kind of take the lead and be kind of the man that pushed them forward. And it's always been that way in Portland. And I think, now that we're together, both of us.” I have to look over and say, “That's a top 75 player too.” And I have to trust that he carries that with him. “After that, we have a chance.”

Khris Middleton still doesn't have a timetable for his return from offseason ankle surgeries, which hasn't helped her situation. The Bucks need to find a solution soon or the front office could be forced to make difficult decisions.

They could also get back into the coaching market less than a year after firing Adrian Griffin. The Bucks have a chance to end their three-game losing streak tonight in Memphis.
