Halo 2 launched two decades ago with the heft of a 1,000-pound super soldier, but has already been stylishly remastered once in the Master Chief Collection, so its milestone birthday is instead being celebrated as part of a Halo Infinite update that's out now it appears back in 2004 (just without all the MySpace hype).

The newly renamed Halo Studios announced today that Halo Infinite will be receiving a surprisingly massive update called Operation: The Great Journey on the classic shooter's anniversary, November 5th. Surreal third-person mode is part of the package, but what's even more exciting is a playlist that essentially rewinds time.
