On this final day of early voting, voter turnout across the region is near or above 45%

In most Southeast Texas counties, early voting turnout is now at or above 45%.

JEFFERSON COUNTY EARLY VOTE

According to the Jefferson County Clerk's Office, 65,898 voters had cast their ballots in Jefferson County as of Thursday evening, the 11th day of early voting for the November election.

The total includes 62,735 in-person and 3,163 mail-in ballots. Rogers Park had the highest turnout with a total of 16,088 votes, followed by Hughes Public Library with 9,070, Theodore Johns Library with 6,452 and Hebert Library with 5,589.

The number of registered voters in Jefferson County is 147,718. Voter turnout so far is 44.4% of registered voters.

There are 11 early voting locations in Jefferson County. Early voting runs through November 1st. You can vote Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m

The election will take place on Tuesday, November 5th.

EARLY VOTING IN ORANGE COUNTY

In Orange County, 26,605 people had voted early through Thursday, including 25,685 in person, 849 absentee ballots, 65 limited ballots and 6 provisional ballots.

Orange County has 56,303 registered voters. Voter turnout is 45%.

Early voting takes place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at all four locations, including the Orange Public Library, Raymond Gould Community Center, Orange County Airport and Mauriceville Community Center.

EARLY VOTING IN HARDIN COUNTY

Hardin County Judge Wayne McDaniel said 20,560 voters had cast their ballots as of Friday morning, a turnout of 46.4%. This includes 20,111 in-person ballots and 449 postal votes. The record for early voting is 21,234 in 2020.

Early voting takes place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at all four locations, including the Hardin County Courthouse from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Silsbee City Hall, Lumberton City Hall and Sour Lake Community Center, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

JASPER COUNTY EARLY VOTE

In Jasper County, 11,705 people voted from early through Thursday evening. There are 11,392 people present and 313 absent. Voter turnout is around 49%.

There are no challenging races at the local level in Jasper, Newton, Sabine or Tyler County.

TYLER COUNTY EARLY VOTE

In Tyler County, 6,298 voters had cast early ballots as of Friday afternoon. There are 6,074 people present and 224 people absent. That’s about 40% of registered voters in Tyler County.

Early voting in Tyler County will be held through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Nutrition Center on Willow in Woodville.
