The Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves meet for a possible Western Conference playoff preview.

Denver is 2-2 this season and has won two straight OT games after two straight losses. The Nuggets defeated the Raptors 127-125 in OT and the Nets 144-139 in OT. Denver had two days off before this matchup to focus on the final matchup of a three-game road trip.

Minnesota is 2-2 and is coming off a 120-114 loss to the Dallas Mavericks. This is the final game of a three-game home stretch for Minnesota and like Denver, they had two days off, so the rest is neutral. Anthony Edwards had 37 points last game, but 24 of them came in the first quarter.

NBC Sports Bet Best Bet

Vaughn Dalzell (@VmoneySports) likes Russell Westbrook surpassing his 6.5 rebounds + assists against Minnesota:

“Westbrook is averaging 5.3 potential assists per game and 6.0 rebound chances per game, so at first glance getting more than seven rebounds and assists combined in 11.3 chances isn't a good bet.

However, in the last game, Westbrook had seven potential assists (five converted) while he only had four total rebound chances (one converted). His assist chances have steadily increased and the chemistry between him and his new teammates will improve. When it comes to rebounding, Westbrook will always struggle around the boards and Denver will need help from the guards when it comes to rebounding against Minnesota.

Westbrook has reached the over two times out of four with this prop, but I like the chances of 20+ minutes and a faster pace when he's in it. With a rebound and assists over 7.5, I would need at least +125 to consider it.”
