Maple Grove defeats Eden Prairie in Minnesota high school football playoffs (11/01/2024)

MAPLE GROVE, Minn. – The No. 1 seed Maple Grove Crimson (10-0) defeated the No. 4 seed Eden Prairie Eagles (6-4) 34-0 at Maple Grove High School in the second round of MSHSL Class 6A 2024.

Maple Grove dominated the first half with a balanced attack on offense, while the Crimson defense held Eden Prairie to 67 yards rushing in the first half.

The Eagles moved the ball better in the second half but threw two interceptions, including one for a Crimson touchdown, to avoid getting on the scoreboard.

Maple Grove plays the winner of Edina vs. Eagan on Friday at Park Center High School.
