Rain starts after sunset

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Clouds will gradually increase across the region on Saturday and rain will begin after sunset.

It starts to rain on Saturday evening

Clouds will gradually increase across the area today, with highs reaching the upper 50s and lower 60s. An incoming low pressure system will begin bringing scattered showers to the area this evening, starting in our southwest counties. There will be rain in the area overnight, with low temperatures falling into the 40s.

It continues to rain

It will rain most of the day on Sunday, with highs in the low 60s. Scattered showers will continue to occur across the region on Monday and Tuesday, with highs above 60 degrees. Some locations could see more than an inch of rain over the next few days. Therefore, it is a good idea to bring an umbrella or raincoat to choose from.

Dry from Wednesday

The second half of the work week looks dry, with highs in the 50s.
