US President Joe Biden criticized Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and his supporters during a speech in Pennsylvania on Saturday, saying they were the kind of people “you beat in the ass.”

The outgoing US president gave a speech in Scranton, Pennsylvania, as he criticized Trump and his supporters and suggested he would hit back against fake “macho types”.

“There is something else Trump and his Republican friends want to do. “They want a huge tax cut for the rich,” Biden told a carpenters’ union.

“Now, I know some of you are tempted to think that they are macho guys. I'll tell you what, man, when I was in Scranton, we had a little trouble getting through the plot every now and then. They're that kind of guy. “There's a lot of guys you'd like to beat in the ass,” Biden added.

Biden's statement sparked harsh comments on social media.

One X user responded to his statement: “Biden has officially endorsed Trump. He continues to damage Kamala’s campaign.”

Another X user said: “Joe has been hanging out with Tim too much.”

The US presidential election will take place on November 5, with Democratic leader Kamala Harris challenging her Republican counterpart and former President Donald Trump.

The two leaders also appeared on several television and radio shows in the final stages of the election campaign to attract voters.

According to the latest CNN opinion poll, Both Harris and Trump are in a tight race for the referendums in most of the contested states.
