Sunday Evening Texas Weather Update: Isolated thunderstorms continue to develop across the Big Country and western North Texas this evening. These will wear off in a few hours. The risk of severe weather will decrease for North Texas over the next few hours. However, isolated thunderstorms will develop across West Texas and Northwest Texas around midnight Monday. Some storms will likely produce damaging winds and hail as they move east/northeast. A brief tornado is not out of the question. These storms will move into Oklahoma several hours later.

A cold front/dry front will move east across Texas tomorrow morning and approach I-35 in North and Central Texas by midday. Thunderstorms could develop late Monday morning as the cold front approaches these two regions. The line of storms will track east across Northeast Texas and East Texas Monday afternoon and evening. Storms may occur. So plan a way to receive severe weather warnings. We also expect cold rain in the Texas Panhandle; This may mix with snow late Monday in the western/northwestern panhandle. We will receive a full weather forecast around sunrise on Monday. Have a great night! ~David
