Chasing ambulances

QB Dak Prescott – Him but appeared to have injured his throwing hand Then they excluded him with a thigh injury. He will have an MRI on his leg on Monday, but he said he “felt something he's never felt before,” which sounds concerning.

WR Chris Olave – Him was carried off the field on a backboard and sent to the hospital for examination. He was later released but will be placed in the NFL concussion protocol there was nothing seemed “mild” on this hit. This could take longer than just a week.

WR Drake LondonCaught a touchdown in the win over the Cowboys, but landed on his hip. He rode a stationary bike on the sidelines but was excluded. He will be examined on Monday, but initial speculation is that this is not the case very serious injury.

WR Jaylen Waddle – A Bills defender blocked him Step on the ankle and seemed to be in a lot of pain at first. He later returned to the game, so he apparently The injury wasn't any worse.

WR AJ Brown – Was originally evaluated for a concussion but was just cleared to be later ruled out due to a knee injury. It didn't appear to be serious and there is speculation that he was held more out of precaution, but more will be known after Monday.

Free agents, flops and other personalities

QB Cooper Rush/Trey Lance – The Cowboys may be without Dak Prescott, depending on further news regarding his Achilles tendon. Cooper Rush lost to the Falcons and finished the game with 115 yards and a score. The Cowboys face the Eagles, but at 3-5 the game lost a lot the shine. Unless more information is available, the fear is that the Cowboys could try out both quarterbacks during the game.

WR Darnell Mooney – After Drake London left the win over the Cowboys, Mooney took over the primary receiver role and led the Falcons with five catches for 88 yards and a score. He racked up nine targets – six more than any other wideout in Atlanta. Remarkable, Kyle Pitts also returned back to just one catch for 11 yards. Mooney has already been important for next week, but will become a must-start if he's the top receiver against the Jaguars.

QB Derek Carr – Played in his first game as a substitute against the Panthers' poor defense, but managed just 236 yards and one score. This was one of their softest matchups of the year, but it was a surprise that the top receivers were Alvin Kamara (6-60) and Taysom Hill (4-41). Kamara also ran for 155 yards and faced 29 carries the majority of everything Attack. But It was still disappointing to see that After losing Chris Olave, there were no more wideouts appearing.

TE Ja'Tavion Sanders – The rookie out of Carolina is still far too inconsistent to deserve a fantasy start, but he did have two games with five catches before this week and led the team with four catches for 87 yards in the win over the Saints. When he sniffs, It may be a one-time dud But he is improving. With Diontae Johnson gone, the Panthers need to redistribute passes, and for one week Sanders did the most.

QB Desmond Ridder – The Raiders have already traded away Davante Adams And She never had a highly rated quarterback. Now Gardner Minshew was benched again midway through the game. Ridder entered the game late in the third quarter and completed 11 of 16 for 74 yards and a score. The Raiders have a bye for Week 9 and I have to find out how to at least be competitive in games.

TE Mike Gesicki – The Bengals tight end already caught seven passes for 73 yards in Week 8 when Tee Higgins was sidelined. In Week 9, he again helped replace the missing Higgins, with a team-best five catches for 100 yards and two touchdowns as the weekend's top fantasy tight end. Given rumors that Higgins is on a trade block, Gesicki's role could remain in place be used more.

WR Quentin Johnston – The 2023 first-round pick not hit Lived up to expectations and never managed more than 52 yards in a game this season. In Week 9, he led the Chargers with four catches for 118 yards and a score. It was his first 100-yard performance of his career But Ladd McConkey had two more scores (5-for-7) and gained 64 yards on five catches. Justin Herbert managed 282 yards and two scores on the road against an above-average defense. Johnston finally put up stats worthy of this high draft pick.

WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba – Speaking of 2023 first-round wideouts, Smith-Njigba struggled through a disappointing rookie season and hasn't done much this year. But he just reached his career high by a wide margin when he finished the overtime loss to the Rams with seven catches for 180 yards and two scores. Tyler Lockett (3-63, TD) was second best And all others were meaningless. DK Metcalf was out And Smith-Njigba took advantage.

WR Puka Nacua -He was limited to just one catch for 11 yards in the win over the Seahawks because he ran a deep route that was intercepted. A defender continued to block Nacua beyond the end play, and far beyond the point that led him to choose violence, and he hit the defender, resulting in a disqualification. It was already questionable whether he would get into the game with his knee was bothering him again, but he was still active. Hopefully the visiting Dolphins won't upset him again. Cooper Kupp also caught 11 passes for 104 yards.

RB Cam Akers -He was traded to the Vikings, and against the Colts he ran for 46 yards on six carries, making several chunk plays. Aaron Jones was the leading rusher with 21 carries for 64 yards, but the Vikings are ready if they need to replace him. Akers looked so good that he might be able to use a few more touches from Jones than originally thought.

WR Demarcus Robinson – After going through the season with fantasy scores under 10 points, the Rams receiver scored twice on his two catches for 35 yards in Week 8. On Sunday of Week 9, he had the best fantasy performance of his career when Puka Nacua was out and the Rams threw him nine targets to catch six for 94 yards and two touchdowns in their overtime win at the Seahawks. Robinson has not scored more than four touchdowns in any of his previous seven seasons and has recorded just four in the last two weeks.

Saquon Barkley (PHI) – Imagine what could have happened if Barkley had been drafted by the Eagles instead of languishing for six years in New York behind a terrible line on a team that had no other weapons on defense. Barkley ran for just 159 yards and a score on 27 carries in the win over the Jaguars, along with three receptions for 40 yards and a second touchdown.
