Maggie Goodlander, the wife of NSA's Jake Sullivan, was brutally mocked during a Granite State debate against New Hampshire's 2nd Congressional District candidate Lily Tang Williams.

Lily Tang Williams of Weare, the Republican candidate and Chinese-born “survivor of communism” who received U.S. citizenship in 1994, ran against Groton, a Nashua native, Yale law graduate and member of the politically connected Tampsoi family of Nashua, Maggie Goodlander.(X)

The two candidates, both running for the District 2 congressional seat now being vacated by Rep. Annie Kuster, D-NH, exchanged views on a wide range of issues, including child care, abortion, immigration and the peaceful transition of power and support for Ukraine .

In a pre-general election debate on WMUR-TV on Nov. 5, Lily Tang Williams of Weare, the Republican candidate and Chinese-born “survivor of communism” who received U.S. citizenship in 1994, faced off against Weare native Groton Nashua , Yale law graduate and member of Nashua's politically connected Tampsoi family, Maggie Goodlander.

While Goodlander is a wife of Biden administration national security adviser Jake Sullivan, Tang Williams, a lawyer and business consultant on China, was a libertarian who campaigned in Colorado and New Hampshire before coming to the U.S. with $100. Gov. Chris Sununu calls their success story “phenomenal.”

Tang Williams mocks Goodlander's wealth

During the debate, the two had the opportunity to introduce themselves and at the same time give a closing speech.

When Tang Williams was asked if she had come here from Colorado just to run for administration, she claimed in broken English that she was unable to gain the traction needed. “For the politicians who don’t understand that they should go back to business schools to learn about high inflation. It's not a private sector. It is always the federal government that can print money.”

Goodlander was asked how he could achieve relief from inflation as quickly as possible.

“People are feeling the pain of high prices right now,” she claimed. “There is no panacea here.”

Goodlander further stated, “I will fight with everything I have to fight the pain.”

Tang Williams mocked her and said: “You are rich, you are worth 20 to 30 million dollars.” How do you know that ordinary people are suffering?”

She claimed she didn't have “money to do TV commercials” and accused her of pretending to be poor despite owning a $2 million home. “Please don’t say this because you don’t understand the concerns of ordinary people. People cry in my arms.”

Tang Williams and Goodlander discuss immigration

While Goodlander clapped back, he said, “It’s just completely wrong. You know, could I please finish at the beginning of my career?” At the beginning of my career. I worked for Senator John McCain to run against Vladimir Putin. I am banned from Russia for life because of this work and I firmly believe in the cause of freedom in Ukraine.”

On immigration, Goodlander remained silent on whether she would support deportations, claiming that the border security law was opposed by “politicians who want to sow chaos,” a reference to former President Donald Trump.

Tang Williams noted that although it took her six years as an immigrant, she came to the United States “the right way.” She declared her support for deporting illegal immigrants.

She further stated that she would not cast a nationwide vote on abortion, emphasizing, “If a baby can live outside of its mother's body… why do you want to act like Communist China and kill that baby?”

Tang Williams calls Jake Sullivan 'incompetent': 'He should be fired'

Regarding the Ukraine war, Tang Williams said that former President Donald Trump made it clear that he would support peace agreements as soon as he was elected. “We can't afford to have endless wars, and your husband Jack Sullivan is fueling the cause because he's incompetent,” she said, adding, “He's going to be fired.”

She launched a scathing attack on Biden for calling Trump supporters “trash,” saying: “Well, when your former boss spoke out six months ago, all Trump supporters are trash, and that's like that “Half the country will become trash.” That’s not unifying and positive, and it’s been going on for a while.”

“Your boss is the most controversial president since I came to this country to talk about white supremacy. They're white, a lot of people are white, and they're talking about MAGA Republicans or threats to democracy. You know all this rhetoric isn't helping. I like to talk about the American dream. How happy I am here, how much I love this country. I want to serve people. That’s what we should focus on,” she concluded.

“We need them in Congress. “That was amazing,” a third user chimed in, while the fourth declared, “I love her. “That just made my day as I watched her take out a privileged, out-of-touch leftist.”
