Mavericks vs. Pacers preview, start time, TV schedule and injury report

1 minute, 33 seconds Read

The Dallas Mavericks (4-2) host the Indiana Pacers (2-4) on Monday night. The game has the odd start time of 8:45 p.m. local time, despite being played at the American Airlines Center. There are no NBA games tomorrow because why would anyone want a break from the US election? Instead, the NBA is hosting 15 games tonight, all starting every 15 minutes! Let's get to the most important things you should know

  • WHO: Dallas Mavericks vs. Indiana Pacers
  • WHAT: Home game in the Mavericks' third of five games
  • WHERE: American Airlines Center, Dallas, Texas
  • WHEN: 8:45 Clock CST
  • HOW: MavsTV, NBA League Pass, Channel 29 (local fans), also playback with Kirk, Matthew and David

As far as injuries go, the Mavericks have the same two guys: Maxi Kleber and Dante Exum. The Pacers, on the other hand, have some early injury problems. TWO different centers tore their Achilles tendons early in the season: James Wiseman and Isaiah Jackson. Aaron Nesmith is out with an ankle sprain and Andrew Nembhard is questionable at this time with left knee soreness.

Dallas played a strong game against the shaky Orlando Magic last night. Luka Doncic had his version of a good game and ended up scoring with ease. The Pacers have lost four of their last five games, with one win coming at the expense of the champion Boston Celtics. This should be a good game since Rick Carlisle somehow always has the Mavericks number.

As you can see below, you can join me and a few other Mavs Moneyball people in a room on Playback (embed below) during the game (although I may not be able to start until halftime). Also consider joining Josh and I live on Pod Maverick after the game on YouTube. We were supposed to start around 11:45 p.m. Thank you for spending time with us here at Mavs Moneyball. Let's go, Mavs!
