Ariana Grande wears quirky oversized glasses as she leaves Sydney with boyfriend Ethan Slater and the cast of Wicked

Ariana Grande cut a strange figure as she prepared to fly out of Sydney Airport on Tuesday.

The 31-year-old Side To Side hitmaker was in the country alongside his co-star boyfriend Ethan Slater, Cynthia Erivo and Marissa Bode for a whirlwind promotional tour for the upcoming big-screen adaptation of Wicked.

Ariana showed up to her flight looking to impress, showing off a touch of boho chic in a pair of bone-colored flared pants.

The billowing bell-bottoms almost covered Ariana's sparkly shoes, and the high-waisted pants fit her slim figure perfectly.

She added a pop of color to the ensemble by wearing an oversized pink shirt with long cuffs that threatened to envelop her tattooed hands.

Keeping with the oversized theme, Ariana wore large, square-framed glasses that made her already petite face appear even smaller.

To finish off her flight outfit, Ariana carried a large floral crossbody bag.

Ariana seemed delighted about her visit Down Under and smiled happily at photographers as she entered the airport.

Ethan, on the other hand, cut a much more understated figure in a dark burgundy sweater and navy chinos.

The actor completed the simple outfit with a pair of blue and white Adidas sneakers.

The couple was also accompanied on the flight by co-star Marissa Bode.

Marissa, who plays Nessarose, wore a sturdy tan wool coat and turquoise pants.

She also carried a black leather handbag and a second, larger, patterned bag that she slung over her shoulder.

Ariana and Ethan met in December 2022 on the British set of the film adaptation of the Broadway musical “Wicked,” in which Grande plays Glinda – the good witch – alongside Ethan as the dwarf Boq.

Ethan filed for divorce in July 2023, five years after tying the knot with Jay, his high school sweetheart.

He pointed out irreconcilable differences and requested joint custody of their then two-year-old son.

At the time, Grande was still married to Dalton Gomez. She filed for divorce in September 2023 and gave her separation date as February 20, 2023.

After heated arguments over the course of their relationship, the couple kept a relatively low profile.

In February, Grande admitted that she feels “an insatiable frustration” with the narrative surrounding her relationship with Slater.

The topic “Yes, what?” deals with the conversation about her private life. The singer told The Zach Sang Show, “I feel like we don't need to get into specifics.”

“But of course it's an insatiable frustration, an inexplicable, hellish feeling, watching people misunderstand the people you love and yourself and everything else.”

When Ethan spoke to GQ in October, he was quick to gush about his lady love.

“I’m really, really proud of Ari and the work she’s done here,” the Broadway alum said.

“I'm really excited to be a part of this next step when the world can see what a great achievement she's done,” he added.
