Polls are open across Arizona for Election Day 2024

PHOENIX – Election Day in Arizona is finally here! Polls officially opened at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. The counting of ballots is expected to begin after 8 p.m

Maricopa County has provided the first update on the number of voters who have cast ballots so far today.

7:35am

Maricopa County is reporting heavy traffic this morning at several polling locations throughout the valley, including:

  • Aire Libre School
  • Anthem Civic Center
  • Chandler-Gilbert Community College
  • Desert Hills Community Church
  • Indian Bend Wash Visitor Center
  • Memorial Presbyterian Church
  • Paradise Valley Community College
  • Surprise at the town hall
  • Tolleson Civic Center

7:30am

Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes has announced a press conference at 9 a.m. to discuss how the election process has progressed so far.

7:20 am

A viewer told ABC15 that there were delays at the polling location at Aire Libre Elementary School in north Phoenix this morning.

The Maricopa County Recorder's Office told ABC15 that a poll worker initially locked himself out of the building with the ballot and the issue is expected to be resolved shortly.

7 a.m

Some viewers in Mohave County initially reported problems when polls opened in Mohave County.

ABC15 reached out to the Mohave County Elections Department, who said all issues have been resolved and voting is continuing as usual.

6 a.m

The polls have officially opened in Arizona.

Here's what you need to know if you want to vote in person today:

  • All polling stations will be open on Election Day (November 5) from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Did you vote by mail? You can check if there are any problems with your ballot.

Didn't you receive your ballot in the mail on time? You can drop off your ballot at any voting center today.
