After months of campaigning, the Republican presidential and vice presidential candidates cast their votes on Tuesday morning.

Former President Donald Trump cast his vote in Palm Beach, Florida, and says his latest presidential campaign was the best yet.

“I ran a great campaign. I think it was perhaps the best of the three. We did great in the first one. We did much better in the second, but something happened. I would say this is the best campaign we've ever run,” he said while standing next to his wife, Melania Trump.

“It appears that conservatives are voting very strongly,” Trump told reporters in Palm Beach, Florida.

“It looks like Republicans showed up in big numbers,” he said.

Trump indicates he won't challenge the election results – as long as they are fair.

“If it's a fair election, I would be the first to accept the results,” Trump said, although it was unclear what fits that definition.

Speaking to reporters after the election in Florida, Trump said he had no plans to tell his supporters to refrain from violence if he lost.

“I don’t have to tell them” because they “are not violent people,” he said.

While speaking to reporters, Trump refuses to say how he voted on the Florida abortion measure.

When asked about the measure that would keep the state's six-week restriction in place, he avoided answering by simply saying he had “done a great job bringing them back to the states.”

The second time, he snapped at a reporter and said, “You should stop talking about this.”

Trump had previously indicated he would support the measure, but then changed his mind and said he would vote against it.

The abortion measure would prevent lawmakers from passing a law that penalizes, bans, delays or restricts abortion until the fetus is viable, which doctors say is sometime after 21 weeks. If rejected, the state's current abortion law will remain in place.

Asked if he had any regrets about his campaign, Trump replied: “I can't think of anything.”

Trump planned to visit a nearby campaign office to thank those who worked on his behalf.

Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance voted in Cincinnati this morning.

“Look, I feel good. You never know until you know, but I have a good feeling about this race,” Vance said after he and his wife cast their votes.

Vance said he would leave for Palm Beach, Florida, later Tuesday to be with Trump once the results are in.
