Update (9:05 p.m.): ABC News estimates Donald Trump has 214 electoral votes and Kamala Harris has 145 electoral votes.

Update (8:09 p.m.): ABC News is currently predicting that Donald Trump will have 195 electoral votes and Kamala Harris will have 91 electoral votes.

Update (6:28 p.m.): Currently, Texas reports that 80.51% of people in the state voted for Donald Trump and 18.85% voted for Kamala Harris.

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) – The El Paso County Democratic and Republican parties will host Election Day watch parties Tuesday evening as the results of local, state and national elections are announced.

The El Paso County Democratic Party will host its “Unity 2024” watch party at Cervecería 19 in East El Paso starting at 6:30 p.m

Oscar Ugarte, candidate for El Paso County Sheriff, James Montoya, candidate for District Attorney, and Jackie Arroyo Butler, candidate for Commissioner, Precinct 1, will be in attendance.

According to party officials, Congresswoman Veronica Escobar is also expected to pay a brief visit to the watch party.

On the other side of the race to become the next president of the United States, the El Paso County Republican Party will hold its 2024 election night party at its GOP headquarters at 7717 Lockheed Dr., Ste. organize. D. from 6 p.m

El Paso County Republican Party officials did not say whether a local Republican running for office would attend the watch party.
