Of the counties with near-complete results, more than 90 percent have swung in favor of former President Donald J. Trump in the 2024 presidential election, according to a Times analysis of election results early Wednesday.

Mr. Trump improved his margin in 2,367 counties in 2020. His lead only narrowed in 240 counties. In 536 counties, too few votes were counted to be included in the analysis.
