There's a big bug fixer update coming to Pixel phones this month

Verizon seems to be a little early, releasing the November security patch for Pixel phones a little earlier than Google. On its website, which lists software updates for phones on its network, the carrier says the latest security patch should be available for every Pixel phone starting with the Pixel 6 starting today, November 5th.

The general changelog isn't too specific, but it says “General performance and stability improvements to certain UI transitions and animations” and is also the most current security patch. However, there is a slightly more detailed changelog for the Pixel 9 series.

For example, the Pixel 9 series changelog shows fixes for a number of issues such as: There were issues such as Bluetooth range, camera tilt when zooming between cameras, an issue that occasionally prevented adaptive brightness from activating, and an issue that caused white dots to flash under certain conditions. Find the full details here.

What's notable for some is that every device page from the Pixel model up to the Pixel 9 series lists the build number AP3A.241105.007. For the Pixel 9 series, including the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, the build is listed as AP3A.241105.008a small difference.

Again, Google hasn't detailed any of this themselves or released actual builds for flashing/downloading, and we're still waiting for that to happen. There will be a separate post as soon as it goes online. We expect this to happen soon.
