Barron Trump showed up on Election Day Tuesday to help his father Donald Trump get closer to the White House.

The NYU freshman's mother, Melania Trump, shared a picture of the 6-foot-tall 18-year-old from behind, bending over a voting booth and filling out bubbles.

“Elected for the first time,” the new first lady wrote in a post on X, formerly Twitter. “For his father!”

The post received more than 12 million views in about 12 hours.

It is unclear where Barron, who came of age in March, fulfilled his civic duty. But it's likely the same place where his parents were seen voting that morning – the Morton and Barbara Mandel Recreation Center in West Palm Beach.

The young man was not photographed there, but later stood with them on stage at the Trump election headquarters at the Palm Beach County Convention Center as the results came in.

We understand that Melania was appropriately proud of her only child, but the Slovenian native may not have realized that photographing someone voting is technically taboo in the Sunshine State.

“No photography is permitted at the polling place or early voting area,” states Florida Statute 102.031 (5). “Unless a voter is allowed to photograph their own ballot.”

Share an “I Voted!” A sticker on Barron’s lapel probably would have been enough just to say it.

Hours later, No. 45 became No. 47 after defeating Vice President Kamala Harris with 277 electoral votes, more than the 270 needed for victory.
