The New York Yankees made some minor changes to the lineup ahead of World Series Game 4 against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday night, with Jazz Chisholm Jr. moving to the mop-up spot while Giancarlo Stanton is slated to start fifth.

However, the struggling Aaron Judge will remain in the three-hole.

Boone told reporters before the first pitch that he was thinking about moving Judge to try to wake up his hitter. While many would assume that would mean moving Judge back to No. 4, Boone told reporters that he actually indicated he was thinking about using the 6-foot-3 slugger as the Yankees' leadoff hitter – where Judge He only scored 36 times in his career.

Boone ultimately decided to keep Judge at No. 3 in order to keep Gleyber Torres at the top of the rankings, as the second baseman was one of New York's most consistent hitters in the postseason.

This postseason, Judge has played in 12 games and recorded six hits, including two home runs, as well as 20 strikeouts and eight walks. He has a meager .140 batting average while continuing to struggle with breaking pitches.

Judge has only one hit in 12 at-bats and has seven strikeouts in the first three games of the 2024 World Series.
