Aaron Judge had a really sad quote after the Yankees' loss in the World Series

Aaron Judge bounced back from his postseason loss on Wednesday night with a two-run home run in the first inning of Game 5 of the World Series, but it wasn't enough for the Yankees, who lost the game 7-6 and watched the Dodgers celebrate their hometown in the Bronx.

While Judge's bat helped give the Yankees an early lead, his poor play in the field in the fifth inning helped the Dodgers get back into the game. In a disastrous inning for the Yankees that resulted in them completely losing their 5-0 lead, Judge dropped a simple catch up the middle.

Judge was extremely honest after the game, telling the media, “I think I'll probably hold on until the day I die that I didn't make the World Series.”

The Yankees haven't won a World Series since 2009. They'll likely have more opportunities in Judge's career, but being left out on the biggest stage must certainly be painful.
