American Idol's Carrie Underwood shows off toned arms in a $6,000 velvet minidress

Carrie Underwood won't slow down! The country superstar just wrapped up her final Las Vegas performances of 2024, but has now revealed to fans how they can catch one of her recent live performances from the comfort of their own home.

In a new Instagram post, Carrie shows – who too Preparing for the start of American Idol – announced that their September performance at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville will air on the Opry's YouTube channel and local Circle Country networks on November 2, 2024.

The post featured a photo of Carrie from the evening, and she rocked a stunning strapless dress Balmain Mini dress that showed off her toned arms.

“Tune in tonight at 9 p.m. to watch Carrie's #OpryLive performance from September on Carrie's Facebook or @Opry's YouTube channel or on your local @circlecountrytv network.-TeamCU,” the post reads.

Although the latest season of the famed singing competition won't premiere on ABC until early 2025, filming is already underway and auditions have already taken place in New York City.

Luke Bryan, who is also currently promoting his first album in four years, ghost of a country boy, came over Good morning America to give an update on the new season and how Carrie fits in with Luke and Lionel Richie and host Ryan Seacrest.

“We're starting auditions in New York City and of course we're excited to have Carrie Underwood with us,” he shared, before teasing, “And she's going to have to develop tolerance for Lionel, me and Ryan (Seacrest).”

Carrie replaces Katy Perry, who stepped down American Idol After a few years, the singer came full circle, as this was where she had her big breakthrough and won the show in 2005.

“There are so many people still working on the show who were there when I was a contestant, and I feel like I'm on both sides of the coin and can hopefully offer insight and help,” she said, when she started was announced.

When asked what kind of judge she could be, she replied: “I can't lie, I just can't, it shows. I feel like I’m going to be very honest but hopefully inspiring.”
