Angel City FC edged Seattle Reign FC 1-0 at Lumen Field on Friday when MA Vignola scored in the 34th minute off an assist from Alyssa Thompson.

Vignola's right-footed shot from the center of the penalty area hit the bottom right corner of the net, giving Angel City (7-4-12) a lead that the team maintained until the end of the game. Goalkeeper DiDi Haracic saved her goal with a save.

Seattle Reign (5-5-13) struggled on offense despite multiple attempts throughout the game. Jordyn Huitema had a notable chance in the second half but was denied by Haracic. Ana-Maria Crnogorevic also came close, but couldn't convert any of her three shots.
