Bengals may lose star playmaker for Eagles game

The Philadelphia Eagles are looking to get their third win in a row on Sunday.

Philadelphia has struggled with injuries, but things have turned since the bye week. The Eagles have won each of their last two games and appear to be a much better team. Philadelphia appears to be on the right track and will now face the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday at Paycor Stadium.

The Bengals are in a similar situation as they got off to a bad start but have also looked much better lately. It will be a hard-fought contest that any team could win, but the Bengals may be without the services of one of their best players on Sunday.

According to Eliot Shorr-Parks of 94WIP.com, Bengals star receiver Tee Higgins reportedly suffered a quadriceps injury on Friday and is now questionable for Sunday's game.

“Tee Higgins suffered a quadriceps injury and is now questionable for the Eagles game against the Bengals on Sunday,” Shorr-Parks said.

Higgins is one of the Bengals' best playmakers and currently has 29 receptions on the season with 341 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He struggled with some injuries last year and only played in 12 games. Before that, he had two straight seasons with over 1,000 yards in 2021 and 2022.

Should Higgins miss Sunday's contest, things would be a little different. Philadelphia certainly plans to take on both Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase. Higgins' absence would likely change the way Chase reports. This will be important to monitor in the next few days.
