Bengals vs Raiders Inactives: Tee Higgins, Orlando Brown, Zack Moss out

1 minute, 18 seconds Read

The Cincinnati Bengals enter their Week 9 game against the Las Vegas Raiders at Paycor Stadium with a 3-5 record and are winless in four home games. Needless to say, things didn't turn out the way they hoped this season.

Now franchise quarterback Joe Burrow is hoping to win his first game in front of a home crowd, relying on a handful of weapons, including his left tackle, and a few surprises.

Inactives for the Bengals' Week 9 game are:

  • WR Tee Higgins
  • LT Orlando Brown Jr.
  • RB Zack Moss
  • WR Jermaine Burton
  • TE Tanner McLachlan
  • DT Jay Tufele
  • Charlie Jones

With Jones and Higgins out, it's clear the Bengals coaches are unhappy with Burton making him a healthy player. With the team's No. 2 receiver out and no wide receiver standing out, Burton had a chance to really stand out from the competition. It is unfortunate that the situation between the rookie and the team has deteriorated so much.

Cody Ford will take Brown's spot at left tackle and will hopefully be ready for and have help against Maxx Crosby as he moves to the right side of the defensive line.

For the Raiders they are without:

  • C Andre James
  • RB Dylan Laube
  • CB Sam Webb
  • S Trey Taylor
  • DE Janarius Robinson

It's clear that the Bengals aren't nearly as healthy as the Raiders at this point in the season, considering so many starters are out. Hopefully they can pull it off and get their first win of the season in front of their own fans.
