Bronny James went to the G League and the tickets for him are way too expensive

Hardly shocked, Bronny James is assigned (some say demoted) to the Los Angeles Lakers' G League second division team, the South Bay Lakers. It's hard to say Bronny was demoted, even though he belonged in the South Bay all along.

According to ESPN's Shams Charania, the vaunted son of Lakers star LeBron James will be on LA's roster for Friday's game against the Lakers very The injured Philadelphia 76ers will return to action with the South Bay Lakers on Saturday when the team takes on Salt Lake City.

Additionally, tickets for the G League team cost an average of $80 per ticket.

Tickets to a G League game should never cost anywhere near $100, and that's the rub.

As part of the Los Angeles Lakers, Bronny James played an average of 3.2 minutes (partially sitting on the bench throughout the game) and averaged 1.0 points. Bronny has a shooting percentage of 16.7 in his professional career. His inclusion on the Lakers' roster for their season debut was surprising considering how much development the USC product still needs. But as many expected, this decision was primarily intended to create a unique moment on the court with his father, LeBron, marking the NBA's first father-son duo.

Bronny is still not very good as a ballplayer. But as a storyline for the league, Bronny is the one.
