The Boston Bruins' start to the season hasn't been great, and there's no denying that. Before last weekend, they had a record of 4-6-1 and were sitting at the bottom of the Atlantic Division. However, they are now starting to fundamentally change things.

The Bruins' weekend couldn't have gone better. They first defeated the Philadelphia Flyers with a final score of 3-0. This was followed by a solid 2-0 win over the Seattle Kraken. They are now 6-6-1 and in fourth place in the Atlantic Division.

While the Bruins still have more work to do, this weekend was a huge step in the right direction. They are now just one point behind the Toronto Maple Leafs and Tampa Bay Lightning, tied with two of their toughest divisional rivals.

The Bruins will now look to build their momentum from here. They play the Maple Leafs and then face three teams that missed the playoffs last season – the Calgary Flames, the Ottawa Senators and the St. Louis Blues. So the potential to stay hot is there.

We'll now have to wait and see how the Bruins play from here. If they can get a few more wins next season they would be in a very good position again.
