Everyone loves (Calif) Raymond, including Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell.

Campbell had a clear choice heading into his game ball presentation in the team locker room at Ford Field on Sunday following a tense 52-14 win over the Tennessee Titans.

“You came to win. You came to play, man. This is a huge victory. That's what we're supposed to do. That’s what champions do,” Campbell said before getting into his game announcements.

It was no secret that Raymond, the Lions' wide receiver and punt returner, had to get the game ball. He had the day of his dreams.

“Listen, man, he was amazing,” Campbell said. “Five punt returns for 190 yards. He was 19 yards shy of the record today! NFL record for punt returns.”

Raymond took his moment to compliment his teammates and coaches.

“It was so cool to watch. I look at BJ (offensive coordinator Ben Johnson) and he says, 'Man, I can't call any of my plays, man, because we keep scoring!' That’s what good teams do.”

Before Raymond's game ball, special teams coordinator Dave Fipp also received one. Campbell said of Fipp: “This guy brings his best every week, works his ass off and is the most consistent unit in four years.”

Fipp accepted the ball from Campbell with a broad smile.

“It’s not about me,” he said. “I thank God, I thank my family, I love you guys and I love the game of football, man. It gave me (expletive) life,” Fipp said.
