Chargers-Saints Inactives: Joey Bosa will play against New Orleans

It's official: Joey Bosa is active for today's game against the Saints. However, he will likely count on a snap count in his first game back since Week 3 in Pittsburgh.

With Bosa back, rookie defender Justin Eboigbe was named among the team's six inactive players this week. He served as the team's emergency edge rusher while Bosa was sidelined despite his natural position inside.

The other five players on the inactive list include quarterback Easton Stick (third emergency QB), wide receivers Quentin Johnston and Derius Davis, tight end Hayden Hurst and offensive lineman Jordan McFadden.

With Hurst out this week, expect an increase in snaps for third-string player Stone Smartt. Smartt received a very positive reception from Herbert against the Cardinals last week and it wouldn't surprise me to see him make more plays this week.

Jalen Reagor was again called up from the practice squad and with Davis out, expect him to play a returning role on both offense and special teams.
