The Dallas Cowboys offense has been heavily criticized for its lack of creativity during the first two months of the NFL season.

Cowboys star quarterback Dak Prescott spoke about the team's preparations for the Atlanta Falcons this week and expressed excitement about what the team has in store.

“I’m excited about this game plan. I think we have a great plan in place,” Prescott told the media on Thursday. “Now for us it’s about just committing to it, focusing on it and going out there and not just executing it, but executing it the way we want to.”

The Cowboys' offense desperately needs a spark, so hopefully Dak's excitement is a sign of things to come. If the players are excited about the game plan, it could bring the energy the team has been missing.

Sure, injuries plague the defensive side of the ball, but if the offense can find a way to put up points and provide support, it will help alleviate the pressure the defensive unit has been feeling.
