Although the Las Vegas Raiders have a 2-2 record after defeating the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, they are at least open to trading Davante Adams.

Per Vincent Bonsignore from the Las Vegas Review Journalthe Raiders are becoming “more open” to the idea of a trade and have begun contacting teams to gauge their interest in the star wide receiver.

This report comes after Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce liked an Instagram post from Sports IllustratedMichael Fabiano said Monday that Adams may have already played “his last snap” with the team.

Appears on Tuesday's episode of Up and Adams On the show with Kay Adams, Davante said he hadn't heard from Pierce about the situation and that he would just control things in front of him:

There have been trade rumors about Adams for more than a year, but he has consistently downplayed them. The three-time All-Pro told reporters in April that he didn't want to leave Las Vegas.

“If I wanted to be gone, I would have been gone a long time ago,” Adams said. “This is where I want to be.”

There's a complicating factor in all of this speculation, as Adams is currently out with a hamstring injury he sustained during training last week. At this point, he's been thinking from week to week and told Adams he's “not sure” about playing in Week 5 against the Denver Broncos.

One person around the league told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Sept. 28 that wide receiver and hamstring injuries were “not a good combination.”

Philadelphia Eagles wideout AJ Brown has missed three straight games due to a hamstring injury he suffered during practice before Week 2.

The NFL trade deadline is November 5th at 4 p.m. ET. Adams is under contract through the 2026 season and will receive a base salary of $35.6 million in each of the next two years after this season. He will earn a base salary of $16.9 million this season.

Adams has 209 yards and a touchdown on 18 receptions in three games.
